Capital projects are essential for continued maintenance, safety and preservation of our Church. The purpose of the Capital Fund is to raise the necessary funds for both current and future capital improvement projects. We believe that, by coming together as a congregation, we can ensure the longevity and well-being of our cherished church without encumbering our annual operating budget.

Supporting our Infrastructure

Trustees have summarized 23 capital improvements that will necessitate attention in the immediate future (see below). The anticipated cost for these projects is $173,800. Because of budgetary restraints there was no capital money budgeted for 2025. Instead, leadership offers the congregation the chance to give specifically to these projects during a Capital Campaign. There was a presentation at both services on Capital Sunday February 23, 2025, and information was mailed to the congregation. In 2024, through the great generosity of our congregation, we raised $154,000.

Donations to our Capital Campaign

The Trustees ask that you consider a gift to the ongoing Capital Campaign. You may choose to give as a family or individual to a specific project or give to the overall campaign. We would also remind you that this is above and beyond your normal giving commitment to the Church. This year we have included a Capital Fund Pledge Card for your convenience.

Contributions to the capital improvement fund can be made anytime throughout the year and conveniently through the online church giving portal or by utilizing special Capital Fund envelopes in the worship spaces. Your participation in this campaign will make a significant impact on the preservation, safety and enhancement of our church facilities.

Yours in Christ,

Jeff Legath, President, Board of Trustees
Pete Honeyford, Property Chair, Board of Trustees
